The marks are usually hiding in three chapters.
Class X mathematics is where a lot of otherwise capable students quietly decide they are “not a maths person”. Almost always it is not ability — it is two or three specific chapters that never got understood properly, and a board paper that punishes exactly those gaps. We find them and we fix them.

Boards we teach
- CBSE Class X — both Standard and Basic, taught as separate tracks, because they are different papers with different demands and pretending otherwise wastes your child’s time.
- ICSE Class X — taught against the CISCE syllabus and its own marking conventions, which are not the same as CBSE’s and are marked more strictly on method.
The chapters that actually cost marks
In the diagnostics we run, the same units come up again and again:
Geometry and circles
Proof writing is a skill, not a memory exercise. Most lost marks here are for steps left unstated, not for wrong answers.
Trigonometry and heights & distances
Usually collapses because the identities were memorised rather than derived. We rebuild it from the ratios up.
Statistics and probability
Easy marks that go missing on presentation and on misreading the question. Fixable in a fortnight.
Algebra, quadratics and progressions
If this is shaky, Class XII will be much harder than it needs to be. Worth over-investing in now.
How we teach it
- Mapped to your board’s own weightage. Revision time follows the marks, not the textbook order.
- Weekly concept class plus a graded problem set. Marked and returned with corrections, not just a score.
- Board-pattern papers with examiner-style marking — so a step-marking loss is caught in October rather than in March.
- Parents get a monthly written report showing per-unit attainment. No vague “doing well”.
The free class is an actual class
Most “free demos” are a brochure read aloud by a counsellor. Ours is thirty minutes of teaching on a chapter you nominate, one-to-one, with a written diagnosis afterwards telling you exactly where the marks are being lost. You see the teaching before you see a fee structure. If it isn’t right for your child, we will say so.
Fees
Two concept classes and one graded problem set each week, plus monthly board-pattern testing.
Entirely private, paced to your child, scheduled around school and other tuition.
Full-syllabus revision, previous years’ papers under timed conditions, and examiner-style marking with per-unit attainment tracking.
Fees are exclusive of GST. Monthly, not annual — you are never locked in, and you can stop at the end of any month without a reason or a penalty.
Common questions
My child is scoring 50-something. Is that recoverable?
Usually, yes, and often faster than parents expect — scores in that range are typically caused by two or three broken chapters rather than across-the-board weakness. The free class is a diagnostic; we will tell you honestly what we find.
Is this online or in person?
Online, one-to-one or in very small groups. That is a deliberate choice, not a compromise: it lets us teach a student in Coimbatore and one in Patna equally well, and it removes the travel that eats an hour of study time every day.
Should we choose CBSE Standard or Basic?
It depends entirely on whether Class XI mathematics is on the table. Bring it to the free class and we will talk it through properly — it is a decision worth making on evidence rather than on fear.
What if it doesn’t suit us?
Stop at the end of the month. No notice period, no penalty, no conversation you have to steel yourself for.
